Review by hotel critic
While enjoying my trip as a marine biologist, I had a chance to stay at Eidaya in Kusatsu, and overall, it was a solid choice for both luxury and value. The spacious room was well-equipped, featuring an electric kettle and Wi-Fi, making it comfortable for unwinding after a day's adventures. Eidaya's shuttle service from the bus terminal was incredibly convenient, especially after a long journey. The staff were genuinely warm and helpful, even providing tours and ticket assistance for local attractions. They proudly offer private onsen rooms, which I appreciated for their easy accessibility, allowing me to relax without feeling rushed. Perhaps the real highlight was the delicious breakfast and dinner. The meals were well-prepared and nicely presented, striking a good balance between quality and price. Eidaya may not be the cheapest option in Kusatsu, but for the amenities and service, it proves to be a thoughtful investment.
